CONFERENCE THEME

VUCA (short for volatility, uncertainty, complexity, ambiguity) has become a trendy acronym in today’s business lingo. Beyond just being a simple acronym used by most contemporary organizations—business, the military, education, government, etc.—VUCA has become a code for awareness, readiness, preparedness, anticipation, evolution, and intervention. This conference is intended to be multidisciplinary, transdisciplinary, and postdisciplinary, with the key goal of bridging the gap between tourism theory and practice.

  • Artificial intelligence in tourism future(s)
  • A role of social media and smart technologies in tourism present and future(s)
